Abstract

In December 2022, the Combined 2 Cities in Bangka Belitung experienced year on year (y-on-y) inflation of 5.38 percent with a CPI of 114.33 Monthly inflation rate or month to month (m-to-m) of 1.15 percent and the calendar year inflation rate or year to date (y-to-d) of 5.38 percent.
  • Inflation y-on-y for the two CPI monitoring cities in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, namely Pangkalpinang was 6.07 percent with a CPI of 113.66 and Tanjungpandan City was 4.17 percent with a CPI of 115.54.
  • This month's y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in the index in almost all expenditure groups, namely; the food, beverage and tobacco group by 2.60 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 1.34 percent; the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group of 5.49 percent; equipment, equipment and household routine maintenance group by 2.45 percent; the health group by 0.67 percent; transportation group by 18.17 percent; recreation, sport and culture group by 3.50 percent; the education group by 1.06 percent; the group providing food and drink/restaurants by 7.19 percent; as well as the personal care and other services group of 6.72 percent. Meanwhile, the group that experienced a decline in index was only the information, communication and financial services group by 0.19 percent.
