Abstract

  • NTP In March 2011, the provincial NTP (NTPp) was recorded at 98.19, up 0.18 percent from 98.01 in the previous month.
  •      Of the 5 Provinces in southern Sumatra (Sumbagsel) that compiled the National NTP in March 2011, 4 Provinces experienced an increase in NTP. The highest increase of NTP occurred in South Sumatera Province of 0.62 percent

  •      The Price Index Received by Farmers (IT) in March 2011 was 115.63 or increased by 0.21 percent from the previous month's value of 115.38.

  •      The price index paid by farmers (IB) in March 2011 reached 117.75 or an increase in index by 0.02 percent from the previous month's value of 117.72.

  •      NTP for each sub sector was recorded for the Rice and Palawija Subsector (NTP-P) of 84.11, Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) of 94.10, Planted Plantation Subsector (NTP-R) of 110.78, for Livestock Sub- (NTP-Pt) of 94.99 and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) of 90.73.

  •      In March 2011, inflation occurred in rural areas in Bangka Belitung Islands Province by 0.07 percent. Inflation was attributed to an increase in the price index in some groups, among others: the finished food group; Health groups; Education, recreation and sports groups; Transport and communication groups.
