Abstract

  •  NTP In March 2012, the Provincial NTP (NTP Prov) was recorded at 99.15 or experienced Decreased 0.39 percent compared to the previous month which reached 99.54.
  •  Of the 5 Provinces in southern Sumatra (Sumbagsel) that compiled the National NTP in March 2012, One province is experiencing increase in NTP. The increase of NTP occurred in Bengkulu Province, which amounted to
    0.23 percent.
  •  The Price Index Received by Farmers (IT) in March 2012 was recorded at 120.10 or experienced The index decreased by 0.23 percent from the previous month's recorded value of 120.37.
  •  The price index paid by farmers (IB) in March 2012 was recorded at 121.13 or increased Index of 0.17 percent from the previous month's recorded value of 120.93.
  •  NTP of each subsector recorded for the Rice & Palawija Subsector (NTP-P) of 84.44, Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) of 89.80, Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-R) by
    115.43, for Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) of 96.07 and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) of
    88.84.
  •  In March 2012, inflation occurred in rural areas in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province of 0.18 percent. Inflation was attributed to an increase in the price index in some groups, among others: groups
    Finished food groups; Housing groups; Clothing group; Health groups; group
    Education, recreation and sports and transport and communication groups.
