Abstract

  • NTP In May 2011, the provincial NTP (NTPp) was recorded at 98.93 or increased 0.40 percent compared to the previous month which reached 98.54.
  •  From 5 Provinces in southern Sumatra (Sumbagsel) which compiled the National NTP in May 2011, 3 Province increased NTP and 2 Province decreased NTP. The highest NTP increase
    Occurred in Lampung Province at 1.88 percent
  •  The Price Index Received by Farmers (IT) in May 2011 was recorded at 116.48 or increased Index of 0.75 percent from the previous month's recorded value of 115.62.
  •  The price index paid by farmers (IB) in May 2011 reached 117.74 or increased Index of 0.35 percent from the previous month's value of 117.33.
  • NTP of each subsector recorded for the Rice & Palawija Subsector (NTP-P) of 84.35, Horticulture Sub-sector (NTP-H) of 92.77, Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-R) by
    112,78, for Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) of 95.09 and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) of
    90.92.
  •  In May 2011, inflation occurred in rural areas in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province of 0.41 percent. Inflation was attributed to an increase in the price index in some groups, among others: groups
    food material; Finished food groups; Housing groups; Clothing group; group
    Transportation and communication.
