Abstract

  • NTP In August 2011, the provincial NTP (NTPp) was recorded at 98.99 or experienced Decreased 0.03 percent compared to the previous month which reached 99.02.
  •  From 5 Provinces in southern Sumatra (Sumbagsel) which compiled the National NTP in August 2011, only 1 Province experienced an increase in NTP while other provinces experienced
    Decrease of NTP. The largest decrease in NTP occurred in Bengkulu Province which amounted to 1.39 percent
  •  The Price Index Received by Farmers (IT) in August 2011 was recorded at 118.10 or experienced The index decreased by 0.54 percent from the previous month's value of 117.46.
  • The Paid Price Index of Farmers (IB) in August 2011 reached 119.30 or experienced An index increase of 0.57 percent from the previous month's value of 118.62.
  •  NTP of each subsector recorded for the Paddy & Palawija Subsector (NTP-P) of 85.01, Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) of 90.55, Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-R) by
    113.38, for Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) of 95.09 and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) of
    90.77.
  •  In August 2011, inflation occurred in rural areas in the province of Bangka Belitung Islands 0.74 percent. Inflation was attributed to an increase in the price index in all groups, among others:
    Foodstuffs group; Finished food groups; Housing groups; Clothing group; group
    health; Education, recreation & sports groups; Transport and communication groups.
