Abstract

The city of Tanjungpandan in August 2014 was inflation of 1.98 percent with the Price Index Consumer (CPI) of 121.24.

The August 2014 inflation was due to price increases indicated by the rise in the Price Index Consumers in the foodstuff category were 4.87 percent; Finished food groups, beverages, cigarettes, and
Tobacco 0.04 percent; Housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group 0.49 percent; group
Clothing 0.13 percent; And the transport, communications and financial services group 3.73 percent. While
Health groups and education, recreation and sports groups have not changed
Index or relatively stable.

August 2014 calendar year inflation rate of 8.16 percent and year-on-year inflation rate (August 2014 to August 2013) by 11.03 percent.

Commodity groups contributing to inflation in August 2014, namely: groups Foodstuffs 1.44 percent; Finished food, beverages, cigarette and tobacco 0.01 percent;
Housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.12 percent; Clothing group 0.01 percent; and
Transport, communication and financial services group by 0.40 percent.
