Abstract

The city of Tanjungpandan in July 2014 was inflation of 2.24 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 118.89.

The July 2014 inflation was due to price increases indicated by the rise in the Price Index Consumers in the foodstuffs group 5.32 percent; Finished food groups, beverages, cigarettes, and
Tobacco 0.12 percent; Housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group 0.41 percent; group
Clothing 0.23 percent; Health group 0.78 percent; And groups of education, recreation, and
Sports 11.78 percent. While the transport, communication and financial services group experienced
The Consumer Price Index decreased 0.24 percent.

July 2014 calendar year inflation rate of 6.07 percent and year-on-year inflation rate (July 2014) Against July 2013) of 9.60 percent.

Commodity groups contributing to inflation in July 2014, namely: the material group Food 1.52 percent; Finished food, beverages, cigarette and tobacco 0.02 percent; group
