Abstract

In September 2024, year on year (y-on-y) Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung inflation rate was 0.49 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 103.76. The highest y-on-y inflation in Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung was seen in Pangkal Pinang City at 0.82 percent with a CPI of 104.67 while the deflation y-on-y was only seen in Tanjung Pandan at 0.22 percent with a CPI of 105.87.
Year on Year (y-on-y) Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung inflation occurred as the price went up, as indicated by the increase in almost all expenditure groups indices, namely: Clothing and Footwear group of 2.00 percent; Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel Group of 0.05 percent; Health Group of 0.67 percent; Transportation Group of 1.10 percent; Recreation, Sports and Culture Group of 1.03 percent; Education Group of 3.23 percent; Food and Beverage Serving Services/Restaurant Group of 1.22 percent; and the Personal Care and Other Services Group of 1.82 percent. On the other hand, y-o-y deflation occurred as indicated by the decrease of indices in Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group of 0.22 percent; Furnishings, Household Equipment, and Routine Household Maintenance Group of 0.11 percent; and Information, Communication and Financial Services Group of 0.29 percent.
While The Month to Month (m-to-m) Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung deflation rate in September 2024 was 0.02 percent and Year to Date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 0.28 percent.
