Abstract

In November 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province of 0.22 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 103.58. The highest y-on-y inflation in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province occurred in Pangkal Pinang City at 0.65 percent with a CPI of 104.56. Meanwhile, the deepest y-on-y deflation occurred in West Bangka Regency at 0.31 percent with a CPI of 101.30.

The y-on-y inflation in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: clothing and footwear group by 2.17 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.28 percent; health group by 0.66 percent; transportation group by 0.31 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 1.56 percent; education group by 3.07 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 0.95 percent; and personal care and other services group by 2.79 percent. Meanwhile, expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in index or experienced deflation, namely: food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.94 percent; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 0.11 percent; and information, communication, and financial services group by 0.23 percent.

The Bangka Belitung Islands Province experienced month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation of 0.01 percent and year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation of 0.11 percent.
