Abstract

NTP In December 2011, the provincial NTP (NTPp) was recorded at 100.58 or experienced An increase of 0.23 percent compared to the previous month which reached 100.34.

From 5 Provinces in southern Sumatra (Sumbagsel) which compiled the National NTP in December 2011, the four provinces experienced an increase in NTP. The largest increase of NTP occurred in the Province
Bengkulu that is equal to 0.77 percent

The Price Index Received by Farmers (IT) in December 2011 was recorded at 120.81 or experienced An index increase of 0.37 percent from the previous month's recorded value of 120.36.

The Paid Price Index of Farmers (IB) in December 2011 reached 120.12 or experienced An index increase of 0.14 percent from the previous month's value of 119.95.

NTP of each subsector recorded for the Rice & Palawija Subsector (NTP-P) of 84.49, Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) of 91.72, Subsector Plant of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-R) of
118.00, for Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) of 95.73 and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) of
89.63.

In December 2011, inflation occurred in rural areas in the province of Bangka Belitung Islands 0.14 percent. Inflation is due to the rise in the price index in some groups, among others:
Group of finished food group; Housing groups; Clothing group; Health groups;

Transport and communication groups.
