Abstract

  •  NTP In July 2011, the provincial NTP (NTPp) was recorded at 99.02 or decreased by 0.55 percent compared to the previous month which reached 99.57.
  • Of the 5 Provinces in southern Sumatra (Sumbagsel) which compiled the National NTP in July 2011, only 1 Province experienced an increase in NTP while the other Province experienced a decrease in NTPThe greatest NTP decline occurred in Bengkulu Province by 1.39 percent
  • The Price Index Received by Farmers (IT) in July 2011 was 117.46 or decreased by 0.05 percent from the previous month's value of 117.51.
  • The Paid Price Index of Farmers (IB) in July 2011 reached 118.62 or experienced an index gain of 0.51 percent from the previous month's value of 118.02.
  • NTP of each subsector recorded for the Subsector of Rice & Palawija (NTP-P) of 84, Horticultural Subsector (NTP-H) of 90.68, Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-R) sebe113.51, for Livestock Sub-sector (NTP -Pt) of 95.03 and the Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) sebes90.88.
  • In July 2011, inflation occurred in rural areas in Bangka Belitung Islands Province by 0persen. Inflation is due to an increase in the price index in almost all groups between foodstuffs; Finished food groups; Housing groups; Clothing group; Health group; Transport and communication groups.
