Abstract

  • NTP In February 2011, the provincial NTP (NTPp) was recorded at 98.01 or experienced An increase of 0.56 percent compared to the previous month which reached 97.47.
  •  From 5 Provinces in southern Sumatra (Sumbagsel) which compiled the National NTP in February 2011, 5 Provinces have increased NTP. The highest NTP increment occurred in Jambi Province which amounted to
    0.58 percent
  •  The Price Index Received by Farmers (IT) in February 2011 was recorded at 115.38 or experienced An index increase of 1.43 percent from the previous month's recorded value of 113.76.
  •  The Paid Price Index of Farmers (IB) in February 2011 reached 117.72 or experienced An index increase of 0.86 percent from the previous month's recorded value of 116.72.
  •  NTP of each subsector recorded for the Rice & Palawija Subsector (NTP-P) of 83.86, Horticulture Sub-sector (NTP-H) of 94.31, Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-R) by
    110.97 for Livestock Sub-sector (NTP-Pt) of 94.79 and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) of
    89.92.
  •  In February 2011, inflation occurred in rural areas in the province of Bangka Belitung Islands 1.04 percent. Inflation is due to the rise in the price index in some groups, among others:
    Foodstuffs group; Finished food groups; Housing groups; Health groups;
    Education, recreation and sports groups; Transport and communication groups.
