Abstract

NTP In April 2012, the provincial NTP (NTP Prov) was recorded at 99.06 or experienced Decreased 0.09 percent compared to the previous month which reached 99.15.

Of the 5 Provinces in southern Sumatra (Sumbagsel) that compiled the National NTP in April 2012, The three provinces experienced an increase in NTP. The largest increase of NTP occurred in Lampung Province
By 0.46 percent.

The Price Index Received by Farmers (IT) in April 2012 was recorded at 120.54 or increased Index of 0.37 percent from the previous month's recorded value of 120.10.

The Paid Price Index of Farmers (IB) in April 2012 was recorded at 121.69 or increased Index of 0.46 percent from the previous month's recorded value of 121.13.

NTP of each subsector recorded for the Rice & Palawija Subsector (NTP-P) of 84.02, Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) of 88.96, Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-R) by
115,60, for Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) equal to 96,02 and Fishery Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) equal to
88.87.

In April 2012, there was inflation in the rural areas of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province of 0.58 percent. Inflation was attributed to an increase in the price index in some groups, among others: groups
food material; Group of finished food group; Housing groups; Clothing group; group
health; Education, recreation and sports groups as well as transport and communications groups.
