MONTH OCTOBER 2010 REACHES US $ 193.8 MILLION

The export value from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in October 2010 reached US $ 193.8 million (based on Free On Board price, FOB), with tin exports of US $ 167.5 million and non tin of US $ 26.4 million.

Tin as the largest export includes 83.3 percent of the total exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province during the period from January to October 2010. The main tin export destination is Singapore which reached US $ 847.5 million or 79.4 percent of total tin exports, followed by Malaysia US $ 42 , 7 million (4.0 percent), Netherlands US $ 40.0 million (3.7 percent), Taiwan US $ 30.5 million (2.9 percent) and Japan US $ 25.7 million (2.4 percent).
