Deflation in Pangkalpinang City occurred due to the decrease of index in three groups ie; Foodstuff category decreased by 0.44 percent; Food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco group by 0.15 percent; And the last group of transport, communications and financial services amounted to 7.32 percent. While the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group increased by 0.36 percent; Clothing group by 1.52 percent; Health group at 1.19 percent; Education, recreation and sports group by 0.14 percent
