Abstract

The city of Tanjungpandan in April 2014 experienced a deflation of 0.65 percent with the Price Index Consumer (CPI) of 114.68.

The deflation in April 2014 is due to the decline in prices indicated by the decline in the Index Consumer Prices in the foodstuffs group 2.25 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas,
And 0.08 percent of fuel and transport, communications and financial services 0.58 percent.
While the group that experienced an increase in index are: the finished food, drinks, cigarettes,
And tobacco 0.05 percent; Clothing group 0.56 percent; Health group 0.64 percent and
The education, recreation and sports group by 0.01 percent.

April 2014 calendar year inflation rate of 2.31 percent and year-on-year inflation rate (April 2014 to April 2013) of 11.13 percent.
