MONTH JANUARY 2009 REACHES US $ 61.6 MILLION

In January 2009 the export value of Bangka Belitung Islands based on Free On Board (FOB) price reached US $ 61.6 million, with tin exports of US $ 52.1 million and non tin amounting to US $ 9.5 million.

In January 2009, tin exports to Singapore reached US $ 47.0 million or 90.28 percent of total tin exports followed by Malaysia US $ 5.1 million (9.72 percent).
