Abstract

In March 2025, year on year (y-on-y) Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung inflation rate was 1.13 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.22. The highest y-on-y inflation in Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung was seen in Pangkal Pinang City at 1.39 percent with a CPI of 105.91, while the deflation y-on-y was only seen in Tanjung Pandan at 0.71 percent with a CPI of 105.75.
Year on Year (y-on-y) Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung inflation occurred as the price went up, as indicated by the increase in almost all of expenditure groups indices, namely: Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group of 0.70 percent; Clothing and Footwear group of 1.48 percent; Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel Group of 0.39 percent; Furnishings, Household Equipment, and Routine Household Maintenance Group of 0,35 percent; Health Group of 1.34 percent; Transportation Group of 1.96 percent; Recreation, Sports and Culture Group of 1.17 percent; Education Group of 3.20 percent; Food and Beverage Serving Services/Restaurant Group of 0.63 percent; and the Personal Care and Other Services Group of 5.01 percent. On the other hand, y-o-y deflation occurred as indicated by the decrease of indices in and Information, Communication and Financial Services Group of 0.20 percent.
While The Month to Month (m-to-m) Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung inflation rate was 1.83 percent and Year to Date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 0.93 percent.

March 2021, Tanjungpandan City experienced deflation of 0.18 percent with a CPI of 107.85. Calendar year inflation was 1.13 percent and year-on-year inflation was 4.17 percent

August 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) Inflation in Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province was 1.02 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Tanjung Pandan at 1.75 percent.
