Abstract

The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers departing from the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in April 2024 was recorded at 78.28 thousand people, an increase of 177.68 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-April 2023), the flow of departing passengers increased by 24.62 percent.
The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers arriving in the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in April 2024 was recorded at 73.20 thousand people. This number increased by 196.08 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-April 2023), the flow of incoming passengers increased by 11.83 percent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in April 2024 was 334.24 thousand tons, an increase of 7.11 percent compared to the previous month which amounted to 312.05 thousand tons.
The volume of goods unloaded during April 2024 was 117.08 thousand tons, an increase of 15.18 percent compared to the previous month which was 101.65 thousand tons.
The number of air transportation passengers departing from the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung in April 2024 was recorded at 104.01 thousand people, an increase of 51.69 percent compared to the previous month.
The number of passengers coming to the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung using air transportation in April 2024 was recorded at 98.54 thousand people, an increase of 28.52 percent compared to the previous month.
