Abstract

The economy of the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in the second quarter of 2022 as measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached Rp. 24.10 trillion and GRDP at constant prices in 2010 reached Rp. 14.45 trillion.
The economy of the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in the second quarter of 2022 compared to the second quarter of 2021 (y-on-y) grew by 5.21 percent, slowing down compared to the achievement of the second quarter of 2021 which grew by 6.85 percent. From the production side, most of the business fields grew positively, with the highest growth occurring in the Transportation and Warehousing business sector. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, most of the components of expenditure also experienced an increase where the highest growth rate was experienced by the component of Foreign Exports.
The economy of the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in the second quarter of 2022 compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q) grew by 5.24 percent. From the production side, most of the business fields grew positively where the highest growth occurred in the Government Administration, Defense and Mandatory Social Security business fields. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the component of Foreign Exports.
The economy of the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in the first semester of 2022 grew by 4.27 percent against the first semester of 2021 (c-to-c). From the production side, growth occurred in almost all business fields where the highest growth occurred in the Transportation and Warehousing business field. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest growth was experienced by the component of Foreign Exports.
The economy of Kepulauan Sumatra in the second quarter of 2022 grew by 4.95 percent compared to the second quarter of 2021 (y-on-y). The total GRDP of Current Price on Sumatra Island in the second quarter of 2022 reached Rp. 1,043.50 trillion or around 22.03 percent of the total GRDP of 34 provinces in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the total GRDP of Constant Price on the island of Sumatra in the second quarter of 2022 reached Rp. 618.76 trillion. The GRDP of the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province only contributes 2.31 percent to the GRDP of Kepulauan Sumatra and 0.51 percent to the total GRDP of 34 provinces in Indonesia.
