Abstract

  •  NTP In February 2012, the provincial NTP (NTP Prov) was recorded at 99.54 or experienced Decreased 0.16 percent compared to the previous month which reached 99.70.
  •  From 5 Provinces in southern Sumatra (Sumbagsel) which compiled the National NTP in February 2012, the three provinces have increased NTP. Increase in NTP occurs in the province of Sumatra
    South, Bengkulu and Lampung respectively by 1.23 percent, 0.23 percent and 0.08 percent.
  •  The Price Index Received by Farmers (IT) in February 2012 was recorded at 120.37 or experienced The index decreased by 0.07 percent from the previous month's recorded value of 120.45.
  • The Paid Price Index of Farmers (IB) in February 2012 was recorded at 120.93 or experienced An index increase of 0.10 percent from the previous month's recorded value of 120.81.
  •  NTP of each subsector recorded for the Rice & Palawija Subsector (NTP-P) of 84.78, Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) of 91.05, Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-R) by
    115,64 for Livestock Sub-sector (NTP-Pt) equal to 96,17 and Fishery Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) equal to
    89.22.
  •  In February 2012, inflation occurred in rural areas in the province of Bangka Belitung Islands 0.11 percent. Inflation is due to the rise in the price index in some groups, among others:
    Group of foodstuffs group; Housing groups; Clothing group; Health groups;
    Education, recreation and sports groups as well as transport and communications groups.
