Pangkalpinang City in December 2013 experienced inflation of 1.25 percent, after earlier in November 2013 experienced a deflation of 0.88 percent. Inflation in Pangkalpinang City occurred due to an increase in index in the foodstuff category by 3.49 percent; Followed by finished food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco group at 1.37 percent; And clothing group by 0,89 percent. While the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group decreased by 0.10 percent; Followed by education, recreation and sports group by 0.01 percent; And the last group of transport, communications, and financial services by 0.60 percent. Meanwhile the health group is stable.
