Abstract

Tanjungpandan City in September 2014 experienced deflation of 0.12 percent with Index Consumer Price (CPI) of 121.10.

September 2014 deflation is due to a drop in prices indicated by the fall in the CPI In the foodstuffs group 0.94 percent; Food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco groups
0.07 percent; And clothing group 0.46 percent. While the group experienced an increase
Indexes are housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group up by 0.53 percent;
Health group 0.31 percent; Groups of education, recreation, and sport of transport groups,
Communications and financial services 1.41 percent; As well as groups of transport, communications, and financial services
0.03 percent.

September 2014 calendar year inflation rate of 8.04 percent and year-on-year inflation rate (September 2014 to September 2013) of 9.79 percent.

Commodity groups contributing to deflation in September 2014, the group Groceries 0.93 percent; Finished food, beverages, cigarette and tobacco 0.07 percent;
