Abstract

Number of guests staying at the five-star hotel in Bangka Belitung Province in May 2016, there were 28,495 people. This amount is significantly increased by 8.17 percent compared to the previous month the number of guests which amounted to 26 343 people (Table 1). the increase in the number of guests happen to domestic guests. Foreign guests was down sharply by 228 votes (48.71 percent). While domestic guests rose significantly as many as 2,380 votes (9.19 percent).
The room occupancy rate (TPK) star hotels in Bangka Belitung Province in May 2016 amounted to 48.55 percent (Table 2), rose significantly by 6.48 points compared to April 2016 the value of TPK amounting to 42.07 percent.
TPK highest five-star hotel by district / city in May 2016 is in Central Bangka regency (66.77 percent), followed Belitung (48.85 percent) and the City Pangkalpinang (45.34 percent). While TPK Bangka Regency is only 25.81 percent.
In May 2016, the average length of stay of the total at the five-star hotel for 1.89 days, an increase when compared to the previous month. During the month of May, the average length of stay (2.12 days) for longer than a day to 0.23 Indonesia (1.89 days)
