Human development in Bangka Belitung in 2015 continued to progress marked by continuous increase in the Human Development Index (HDI) of Bangka Belitung. In 2015, IPM Bangka Belitung has reached 69.05, an increase of 0.77 points compared with the HDI Bangka Belitung in 2014 which amounted to 68.27
In 2015, human development in Bangka Belitung still a "moderate", still the same as in 2014. The HDI status Bangka Belitung Islands in 2015 grew by 1.13 percent compared to 2014.
During the period 2014 to 2015, HDI-forming components also increased. Newborns have a chance to live up to 68.88 years, up 0.16 years compared to previous years. Children 7 years of age have the opportunity to go to school for 11.60 years, up 0.42 years compared to 2015. Meanwhile, the population aged 25 years and above the average of 7.46 has been studying for years, an increase of 0, 11 years compared to the previous year. Expenditure per capita adjusted (constant 2012 prices) community has reached 11.781 million in 2015, an increase of Rp 90.29 thousand rupiah compared to the previous year.
