Abstract

A. DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM

    The number of guests staying at the five-star hotel in Bangka Belitung Province in November 2015, there were 28 294 people. This number increased by 9.06 percent compared to the previous month the number of guests who only amounted to 25 944 people. Increasing the number of guests takes place only on the number of domestic guests increased by 2,521 persons or 9.89 percent. While foreign visitors was down as many as 171 people (37.25 percent).
    Room occupancy rate (TPK) star in Bangka Belitung Province in November 2015 amounted to 51.14 percent (Table 2), up 9.34 points compared to the value of TPK in October 2015 which only reached 41.80 percent.
    TPK highest five-star hotel by district / city in November 2015 was in Central Bangka regency (67.82 percent), followed Pangkalpinang (51.53 percent) and Belitung (48.13 percent). While TPK Bangka only 32.15 percent.
    In November 2015, the average length of stay of the total at the five-star hotel for 2.04 days, an increase when compared to the previous month. During November, the average length of stay (7.58 days) over a length of 5.59 days compared to Indonesia (1.99 days).

B. DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

    The amount of inter-island passenger sea transport departing from Bangka Belitung Province in November 2015, there were 9.97 thousand, down 5.09 percent from the previous month was recorded at 10.51 thousand people. When compared with the same period in the previous year (January-November 2014), the number of passengers fell by 47.71 percent.
    The amount of inter-island sea passenger transport which came in Bangka Belitung Province in November 2015, there were 10.99 thousand, down sharply compared to 17.61 percent 13.34 thousand people in October 2015. When compared to the same period last year, the current incoming passengers also decreased by 34.46 percent.
    The volume of goods loaded at the port in November 2015 reached 508.80 thousand tons, up 0.81 percent when compared to the previous month amounted to 504.70 thousand tons. When compared with the same period the previous year an increase of 6.74 percent.
    The volume of goods unloaded during the month of November 2015 amounted to 140.84 thousand tons, down 19.23 percent compared to the previous month amounted to 174.38 thousand tons. When compared with the same period the previous year (January to November 2014) a decline of 18.42 percent.
    Number of air passengers departing from Bangka Belitung Islands in November 2015 rose 8.82 percent to 91.33 thousand people from previously 83.92 thousand people.
    The number of passengers who come to Bangka Belitung using air transport in November 2015 amounted to 91.19 thousand passengers, an increase of 6.16 percent compared to the previous month 85.90 thousand people.
