Abstract

Tanjungpandan in December 2015 experienced inflation of 1.23 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 127.94.Inflation in December 2015 due to an increase the price indicated by the rise in CPI in foodstuffs 2.18 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.50 percent; clothing group of 0.22 percent; health group 0.29 percent; education, recreation and sport 0.49 percent; and transportation, communication and financial services 3.80 percent. While the processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco remained unchanged or relatively stable.The inflation rate of the calendar year (January to December 2015) amounted to 0.88 percent and the inflation rate year-on-year (December 2015 to December 2014) amounted to 0.88 percent.The group that contributes to inflation in December 2015, which is 0.61 percent foodstuffs; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.12 percent; clothing group of 0.02 percent; health group 0.01 percent; education, recreation and sport 0.03 percent; and transportation, communication and financial services 0.44 percent. While the processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco not contribute to inflation this month.
