Abstract

In the November 2015 Pangkalpinang City experienced inflation of 1.02 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 121.87 after October 2014 also experienced deflation but the smaller the CPI by 0.21 percent to 123.12.
Deflation occurs due to a decrease in the price indicated by the decline in the index in three groups namely foodstuffs spending by 4.16 percent; education, recreation and sports by 0.01 percent; as well as transport, communication and financial services 0.48 percent. While the expenditure of inflation is food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.10 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.34 percent; clothing group of 0.11 percent; and the health group by 0.79 percent.
The inflation rate is the November 2015 calendar year inflation of 3.05 percent and the inflation rate year-on-year (November 2015 to November 2014) amounted to 5.71 percent.
The core component in November 2015 contributed 0.19 percent deflation similarly volatile components of 0.83 percent. While the component whose price is set by the government is quite stable.
