Abstract

Tanjungpandan in August 2015 experienced inflation of 2.29 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 128.17.
Inflation in August 2015 due to an increase the price indicated by the rise in CPI in foodstuffs 6.64 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.48 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.19 percent; health care at 0.03 percent and education, recreation and sport 6.76 percent. While the group index declined 0.64 percent, namely clothing and transportation, communication and financial services 0.30 percent.
The inflation rate of the calendar year (January-August 2015) by 1.06 per cent and the inflation rate year-on-year (August 2015 to August 2014) of 5.72 percent.
The group that contributes / contribute to inflation in August 2015, which is 1.87 percent foodstuffs; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.10 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.05 percent; health groups 0.001 percent and education, recreation and sport 0.35 percent. While the group contribute to deflation, namely clothing 0.04 percent and in the transport, communication and financial services 0.04 percent.
