Abstract

Tanjungpandan in July 2015 experienced a deflation of 0.48 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 125.30.
Deflation occurred in July 2015 due to a decrease in the price indicated by the decline in CPI in foodstuffs of 3.11 percent. While the group that experienced an increase in index: food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.20 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel 0.06 percent; clothing group of 0.50 percent; health group 0.13 percent; education, recreation, and sport 0.11 percent and in the transport, communication and financial services 2.87 percent.
The inflation rate of the calendar year (January - July 2015) amounted to -1.20 percent and the inflation rate year-on-year (July 2015 to July 2014) amounted to 5.39 percent.
Groups that contributed / deflation in July 2015, namely 0.90 percent foodstuffs. While the group contributed / contribution to inflation ie processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco at 0.04 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas, and fuel 0.01 percent; clothing group of 0.03 percent; health group at 0.01 percent; education, recreation, and sport 0.01 percent and in the transport, communication and financial services 0.32 percent.
