FGD on Bioprospecting Development

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Bangka Belitung Province participated in a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the potential and opportunities for bioprospecting development in the Babel region. This activity highlighted the region's rich biodiversity, such as marine potential, mining products, and unique plants such as pelawan mushrooms.

Biodiversity management is a development priority in line with the 2025–2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN), as an effort to encourage the sustainable use of natural resources for regional progress.
