Release of Indonesia Democracy Index (IDI) in 2023

BPS together with Kemenkopolhukam carried out the Release of the Submission of the Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI) 2023 results at the national to provincial levels.

The Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI) is an index used to measure democratic development in Indonesia. The government is seriously encouraging the development of this sector which, among others, can be seen by including IDI as one of the development targets in the 2020-2024 RPJMN, 2025-2045 RPJPN, and harmonized to the RPJPD for all Regional Governments.

The IDI of Babel Province in 2023 amounted to 75.95, a decrease compared to the previous year which amounted to 76.65.
