Farmers Exchange Rate of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province 2023

The welfare of farmers is one of the things that wants to be realized in the vision of the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Provincial Government. This is in line with the social nature of development itself, which is an effort to increase welfare for the entire population. Most residents of the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province live in rural areas and rely on the agricultural sector to increase their income.To see the success of development that has been implemented, apart from data on economic growth, supporting data is also needed in the agricultural sector. With the availability of complete and actual data in the agricultural sector, it will be easier for the government to evaluate development that has been implemented and plan future development. One of the macro indicators used to measure and evaluate development performance is the Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP).
Farmer Exchange Rate is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib) in percentage. It is an indicator of the income level of farmer producers, while Ib is in terms of farmers' needs for both consumption and production.
