Analysis of the Population Profile of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province

As mandated by Law (UU) Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is required to carry out a Population Census (SP) every ten years in the year ending in number 0. SP is a complete data collection activity on all residents who are in the boundaries of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
SP2020 is the seventh SP, the implementation of which is carried out in several stages, starting from preparation, mapping, online population census, interview population census, to dissemination of results. The data generated from the SP2020 activities produce master data that will be used for all future surveys and censuses. This is useful for development planning and is data that is awaited by stakeholders. This publication of the Population Profile Analysis of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province is a comprehensive description of Indonesia's population situation based on the results of the 2020 Population Census. It is hoped that the contents of this publication can be a reference for the government, business world and policy makers in determining future steps.
