Expenditure on Consumption of Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province, March 2017

The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is one of the surveys conducted by BPS every year. The data produced by Susenas are data of various socio-economic aspects and fulfillment of life necessities such as clothing, food, board, education, health, security and employment. Such data is needed by the government as information on the achievement of the results of development programs and to find out how far the development programs implemented have improved the welfare of the community. The socio-economic data collection of the population in Susenas is designed through a household approach. Household consumption / expenditure data is routinely conducted annually by BPS. Along with the increasing frequency of data requests for estimation of poverty and cross sector needs, the data collection of household consumption / expenditure starting 2015 is implemented every semester. The results of Susenas March 2017 are published in the form of Bangka Belitung Islands publication of Population Expenditure in March 2017. The information in this publication is intended to provide an overview of consumption levels and consumer behavior at different levels of society at the provincial level.
