Abstract

Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one of the indicators to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange rate (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed or for production costs.
NTP of Bangka Belitung Islands Province in May 2025 was 147.47 or down 1.03 percent compared to the NTP of the previous month. The decrease in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) falling by 2.04 percent while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) falling lower by 1.01 percent.
NTP of Food Crops Subsector (NTP-P) was 98.76; Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) was 104.76; The People's Plantation Crops Subsector (NTP-R) was 158.94; the Livestock Subsector (NTP-T) was 110.24; the Fisheries Subsector (NTP-P) was 106.60 with the Capture Fisheries Group (NTN) being 107.25 and the Aquaculture Group (NTPi) being 88.02.
In May 2025, there was a decrease in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) by 1.44 percent due to a decrease in the index in 2 expenditure groups. Meanwhile, 7 expenditure groups increased and 2 other expenditure groups were observed to be stable.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in May 2025 was 145.26 or decreased by 2.23 percent compared to the NTUP in the previous month.
