Abstract

In November 2023, Year on Year (y-on-y) Pangkalpinang inflation will be 2.75 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 115.64. The lowest y-on-y inflation in Indonesia occurred in Jayapura at 1.82 percent with a CPI of 112.99. Meanwhile, the highest y-on-y inflation in Indonesia occurred in Tanjungpandan at 5.89 percent with a CPI of 120.62.
  • Year on Year (y-on-y) Pangkalpinang inflation occurred due to price increases as indicated by the increase in the CPI in almost all expenditure groups, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 5.52 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.19 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.09 percent; health group 12.83 percent; transportation group at 2.94 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.22 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.84 percent; education group at 1.18 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 0.72 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 0.40 percent. On the other hand, the group that experienced deflation or a decrease in the CPI was the equipment, equipment and routine household maintenance group that experienced deflation of 0.01 percent.
  • The Month to Month (m-to-m) inflation rate for November 2023 in Pangkalpinang is 0.05 percent and the Year to Date (y-to-d) inflation rate for November 2023 is 1.74 percent.
  • The y-on-y deflation rate for the Energy component was 0.21 percent with a deflation share of 0.0234 percent; Meanwhile, the Foodstuffs component experienced y-on-y inflation of 4.38 percent with an inflation contribution of 1.0586 percent.
