Abstract

The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in August 2023 was recorded at 34.12 thousand people, down 23.30 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-August 2022), the flow of departing passengers increased by 5.65 percent.

The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers arriving in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in August 2023 was recorded at 31.05 thousand people. This number decreased by 52.43 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-August 2022), the flow of arriving passengers decreased by 7.13 percent.

The volume of goods loaded at the port in August 2023 was 351.33 thousand tons, a decrease of 1.21 percent when compared to the previous month which amounted to 355.64 thousand tons.

The volume of goods unloaded during August 2023 was 126.98 thousand tons, a decrease of 25.11 percent compared to the previous month which amounted to 169.56 thousand tons.

The number of air transportation passengers departing from Bangka Belitung Islands in August 2023 was recorded at 71.74 thousand people, a decrease of 14.51 percent compared to the previous month.

The number of passengers coming to the Bangka Belitung Islands by using air transportation in August 2023 was recorded at 73.52 thousand people, a decrease of 22.02 percent compared to the previous month.
