April 2023 sea transportation passengers departed 67.42 thousand, arrived 60.76 thousand

Abstract

The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in April 2023 was recorded at 67.42 thousand people, up 181.93 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-April 2022), the flow of departing passengers experienced an increase of 21.60 percent.

The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers arriving in Bangka Belitung Islands Province in April 2023 was recorded at 60.76 thousand people. This number increased by 121.55 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-April 2022), the flow of passengers who came experienced an increase of 18.33 percent.

The volume of goods loaded at the port in April 2023 was 762.85 thousand tons, a decrease of 6.95 percent when compared to the previous month which amounted to 819.81 thousand tons.

The volume of goods unloaded during April 2023 was 543.86 thousand tons, an increase of 39.75 percent compared to the previous month of 389.17 thousand tons.

The number of air transportation passengers departing from Bangka Belitung Islands in April 2023 was recorded at 88.51 thousand people, an increase of 19.72 percent compared to the previous month.

The number of passengers coming to the Bangka Belitung Islands by using air transportation in April 2023 was recorded at 86.21 thousand people, an increase of 7.66 percent compared to the previous month.
