Abstract

Farmers Terms of Trade (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange power (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

The NTP of the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in March 2023 was 123.43 or an increase of 1.75 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the price index received by farmers (It) which increased by 1.74 percent while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.01 percent.

NTP of the Food Crops Subsector (NTP-P) of 92.45; Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) of 101.64; People's Plantation Plantation Subsector (NTP-R) of 128.59; Livestock Subsector (NTP-T) of 104.74; The Fisheries sub-sector (NTP-P) was 110.25 with the Capture Fisheries Group (NTN) at 110.97 and the Aquaculture Fisheries (NTPi) group at 89.25.

In March 2023 there was a decrease in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of 0.03 percent due to a decrease in the indices in 3 expenditure groups. Meanwhile, 4 groups experienced increases and the other 4 expenditure groups did not experience changes in index.

The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in March 2023 was 117.98 or an increase of 1.71 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
