Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability / purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange rate (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed or for production costs.

The NTP of Bangka Belitung Islands Province in February 2023 was 121.31 or decreased by 2.25 per cent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) decreasing by 2.18 per cent while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) increased by 0.08 per cent.

NTP of Food Crops Subsector (NTP-P) was 90.00; Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) was 104.92; Smallholder Plantation Crops Subsector (NTP-R) was 125.83; Livestock Subsector (NTP-T) was 103.71; Fisheries Subsector (NTP-P) was 109.35 with Capture Fisheries Group (NTN) was 110.04 and Aquaculture Fisheries Group (NTPi) was 89.25.

In February 2023 there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of 0.08 per cent caused by an increase in the index in 8 expenditure groups. Meanwhile, 3 other expenditure groups experienced no change in index.

The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Bangka Belitung Islands Province in February 2023 was 115.42 or increased by 0.08 percent compared to the NTUP in the previous month.
