Abstract

The number of inter-island sea transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in December 2022 was recorded at 32.73 thousand people, up 52.06 per cent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-December 2021), the flow of departing passengers increased by 71.96 per cent.
  • The number of inter-island sea transport passengers arriving in Bangka Belitung Islands Province in December 2022 was recorded at 39.01 thousand people. This number increased by 31.19 per cent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-December 2021), the flow of arriving passengers increased by 72.59 per cent.
  • The volume of goods loaded at the port in December 2022 was 821.59 thousand tonnes, an increase of 6.16 percent when compared to the previous month which amounted to 773.94 thousand tonnes. The volume of goods unloaded during December 2022 was 352.05 thousand tonnes, a decrease of 28.48 percent compared to the previous month of 492.21 thousand tonnes.
  • The number of air transport passengers departing from Bangka Belitung Islands in December 2022 was recorded at 80.96 thousand people, an increase of 11.09 per cent compared to the previous month.
  • The number of passengers coming to the Bangka Belitung Islands by using air transportation in December 2022 was recorded at 84.13 thousand people, an increase of 12.16 per cent compared to the previous month.
