Abstract

The export value of the Bepulauan Bangka Belitung Province in August 2022 was worth US$262.21 million, a decrease of 19.13 percent compared to the export value of August 2021.

The export value of tin fell 27.47 percent and non-tin increased 38.72 percent (y-on-y).

Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the value of exports rose 82.05 percent. Tin exports rose 72.70 percent and non-tin exports rose 126.61 percent.

In January-August 2022, China absorbed 32.85 percent (US$569.75 million) of tin exports and absorbed 28.81 percent (US$71.72 million) of non-tin exports.

The export value of animal/vegetable fats and oils (HS 15) in January-August 2022 dominated at US$172.40 million or 69.27 percent of the total non-tin exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
