Abstract

The total workforce in February 2022 was 788,768 people, an increase of 31,894 people compared to February 2021. The Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) increased by 2.17 percentage points.
The working population is 755,814 people, an increase of 37,121 people from February 2021. Employment fields that experienced the largest percentage increase were the Mining and Quarrying Sector (7.34 percentage points). Meanwhile, the jobs that experienced the biggest decline were the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector (5.66 percentage points).
The percentage of underemployed is up 3.76 percentage points, while the percentage of part-time workers is down 4.57 percentage points compared to February 2021.
The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in February 2022 was 4.18 percent, down by 0.87 percentage points compared to February 2021.
There are 32,164 people (2.86 percent of the working age population) affected by COVID-19. Consists of unemployment due to COVID-19 (2,272 people), Not
