Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

The NTP of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in February 2022 was 136.68, an increase of 1.43 percent compared to the NTP of the previous month. The increase in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) rose by 0.82 percent while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.60 percent.

Food Crops Subsector NTP (NTP-P) of 97.22; Horticulture sub-sector (NTP-H) of 107.47; People's Plantation Sub-sector (NTP-R) of 144.08; Livestock sub-sector (NTP-T) of 109.69; Fishery Subsector (NTP-P) is 114.71 with Capture Fisheries Group (NTN) is 115.44 and Cultivated Fishery Group (NTPi) is 93.87.

In February 2022, there was a decrease in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) by 0.87 percent due to a decrease in the index in 3 (three) expenditure groups.
