Abstract

The export value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in January 2022 was worth US $ 59.29 million, a decrease of 44.65 percent compared to the export value in January 2021.

The export value of tin decreased by 53.36 percent, and non-tin decreased by 13.18 percent (y-on-y).

Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the value of exports decreased by 81.34 percent. Tin exports fell 86.77 percent and non-tin exports fell 8.57 percent.

In January 2022, South Korea absorbed 27.85 percent (US$10.90 million) of tin exports, while the Netherlands absorbed 71.76 percent (US$14.46 million) of non-tin exports.

The export value of animal/vegetable fats and oils (HS 15) in January 2022 dominated at US$13.28 million or 65.90 percent of the total non-tin exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
