Abstract

A. TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

The number of guests staying at star hotels in Bangka Belitung Islands Province in September 2020 was 18,231 people. This number increased by 11.15 percent compared to the number of guests in the previous month of 16,402 people. The number of domestic guests increased by 11.81 percent, and the number of foreign guests decreased by 81.90 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-classified hotels in Bangka Belitung Islands Province in September 2020 reached an average of 20.26 percent, down 2.96 points compared to the ROR for August 2020 which was recorded at 23.23 percent.

The ROR for star-rated hotels by regencies / cities in September 2020 was in Pangkalpinang City at 29.71 percent, followed by Central Bangka Regency (20.20 percent), P.Belitung (17.78 percent), and Bangka Regency (9.87 percent). ).

In September 2020, the overall average length of stay of guests at star rating hotels was 2.01 days, an increase of 0.33 days compared to the previous month.

B. TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT

The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in September 2020 was recorded at 4.98 thousand people, down 26.38 percent compared to August 2020. When compared to the same period in the previous year (January-September 2019), departing passengers decreased by 67.72 percent.

The number of inter-island sea transport passengers arriving in Bangka Belitung Islands Province in September 2020 was recorded at 5.20 thousand people. This number decreased 22.57 percent compared to the previous month. When compared to the same period last year (January-September 2019), the flow of incoming passengers decreased by 70.64 percent.

The volume of goods loaded at the port in September 2020 was 644.20 thousand tons, an increase of 18.69 percent when compared to August 2020 which reached 542.77 thousand tons.

The volume of goods unloaded during September 2020 was 426.22 thousand tons, an increase of 76.22 percent compared to the previous month which reached 241.87 thousand tons.

The number of air transport passengers departing from the Bangka Belitung Islands in September 2020 was recorded at 28.86 thousand people, a decrease of 6.78 percent compared to the previous month.

The number of passengers who came to the Bangka Belitung Islands using air transportation in September 2020 was 29.82 thousand people, a decrease of 1.76 percent compared to the previous month.
