Abstract

A. EXPORT DEVELOPMENT

The export value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in June 2019 was valued at US $ 166.4 million, up 26.65 percent compared to the export value in June 2018.
The value of tin exports rose 31.04 percent and non-profit rose 13.14 percent (y-on-y).
Compared to the previous month (m-to-m), the value of exports rose by 8.06 percent. Non-lead exports rose 31.99 percent and tin exports rose 2.82 percent.
During January-June 2019, Singapore absorbed 51.71 percent (US $ 325 million) of tin exports, while Australia absorbed 23.52 percent (US $ 36.4 million) of non-lead exports.
The export value of mineral fuels (HS 27) in January-June 2019 dominates at US $ 69.3 million or 44.74 percent of the total non-regional exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.

B. DEVELOPMENT OF IMPORT

The import value of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in June 2019 was US $ 1.7 million, up 14.78 percent compared to June 2018. Thus, imports from January to June 2019 became US $ 6.5 million.
A total of 71.53 percent of imports in January-June 2019 were non-oil and gas.
Non-oil and gas imports from January to June 2019 were dominated by machineries / aircraft mechanics (HS 84) of 67.13 percent (US $ 3.13 million).
In January-June 2019, Malaysia became the main exporter to the Bangka Belitung Islands Province with a value of US $ 2.61 million (40.04 percent).
