SEPTEMBER 2010 MONTH ACHIEVED US $ 124.2 MILLION

The export value from the province of Bangka Belitung Islands in September 2010 reached US $ 124.2 million (based on Free On Board price, FOB), with tin exports of US $ 116.7 million and non tin of US $ 7.5 million.

Tin as the largest export accounted for 82.7 percent of the total exports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province during the period from January to September 2010. The main tin export destination is Singapore which reached US $ 720.3 million or 80.0 percent of total tin exports, followed by Malaysia US $ 36 , 3 million (4.0 percent), Netherlands US $ 34.1 million (3.8 percent), Taiwan US $ 24.3 million (2.7 percent) and Japan US $ 19.4 million (2.2 percent). The contribution of the five countries reached 92.7 percent of the total tin exports of Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
