Abstract

A. TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

Number of guests staying at star hotel in Bangka Belitung Islands Province at September 2014 counted 24,307 people. This number increased 31.91 percent compared with Number of previous month's guest as many as 18,427 people. Indonesian guests are increasing A total of 5,891 people or an increase of 32.30 percent from August 2014. While the number of guests Foreign decreased significantly by 5.79 percent compared with August 2014, so it became 179 people in September 2014.
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Bangka Belitung Islands Province at September 2014 amounted to 42.34 percent. This value increased 7.85 points compared to August TPK value 2014 which is only 34.49 percent.
The TPK of the highest star hotels by regency / city in September 2014 is a five-star hotel In Belitung Regency with 50.49 percent, followed by Central Bangka Regency of 47.60 percent. While the City of Pangkalpinang and Bangka Regency respectively amounted to 35.86 percent And 27.60 percent.
In September 2014, the average length of stay of the entire total guest was at star-rated hotels 1.86 days, down 0.08 days compared to the average length of stay of August 2014 guests during 1.94 day. The average length of stay of foreign guests is 0.13 days longer than Indonesian guests on September 2014, with an average length of stay of 1.99 days. While the average length Indonesian guests stay only 1.86 days.

B. TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT

The number of sea passengers between islands departing from the Bangka Islands Province Belitung in September 2014 was recorded at 27.04 thousand people, down by 29.96 percent Compared to August 2014 (38.61 thousand passengers). When compared to term The same time last year ie the period January-September 2013, the number of passengers fell 14.72 percent.

The number of goods loaded at the port in September 2014 reached 540.37 thousand tons, up 43.77 percent compared to August 2014. When compared with the same period of the year Earlier or January-September 2013 increased, amounting to 5.84 percent.
The number of goods dismantled in September 2014 was 188,87 thousand tons, up 34.92 percent Compared to August 2014. When compared with the same period the previous year ie January-September 2013 a decrease of 6.25 percent.
Number of air transport passengers departing from Bangka Belitung Islands at September 2014 was 96.7 thousand people, down 24.6 percent compared to August 2014 Which as many as 128.3 thousand people.
Number of passengers arriving to Bangka Belitung Islands using transportation Air in September 2014 reached 106.4 thousand people or down 17.5 percent compared to August 2014 which amounted to 129 thousand people.
